We really want our guests to enjoy our wedding day, feeling truly present and in the moment with us, so we’ve decided to have an electronic free ceremony. We've hired amazing wedding photographers and videographers who will be capturing the event for us. We're inviting each of you to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the ceremony with us. Please consider leaving all cameras, cell phones, iPads, etc. turned off until after our ceremony is over, and of course we will happily share ceremony photos with you afterward!
While we’ve opted to have an unplugged ceremony, did you know you can help us capture our reception by using your cellphone for videos and pictures? Follow the link below to learn more, or you can find this link at a later time on the Ceremony information page.

Work: Shelby is currently pursuing a Master’s in Secondary English Education at the University of Connecticut through a 5 year program
Hobbies: Shelby owns a guitar, so she can tell people she’s learning how to play, frequently participates in marathons … on Netflix, avid bicyclist, sleeping in until the last possible moment, taking too many photos of the dogs, literacy tutoring at New Haven Reads, likes to clean obsessively when avoiding schoolwork, chocolate (yes chocolate can be a hobby if you work at it hard enough), and learning American Sign Language.
Short Girl Problem #208: When you’re so short, that you’re best known for being short over your actual accomplishments.
One day Shelby fired up google to research skiing vacations, and somehow she ended up applying for and getting offered a job with the City and County of Denver as a Police Dispatcher. In a town far far away, after graduating from his Masters program, Dan applied to several acoustics firms in multiple cities, and he ultimately accepted an offer to work at a firm in Denver. After months of living in the same city, eventually Dan and Shelby met in what Dan calls the bar for millennials—online. Their first date was at Zanzabar, a local pool hall. They shared a plate of loaded Nachos, played some pool, and the rest is history.
